Esther is a musician in her early thirties.

Why is Christmas so important to the story or you? 
The book is set at Christmastime. Esther is going home to Paunceworthy for Christmas. She’s not looking forward to facing her family’s questions about her love life and (lack of) career. But Esther has a few questions of her own and she’s not giving up!
